Deckstart Academy is co-led by a DJ and music producer active in the London scene who also presents on radio. That practical experience helps shape how we introduce young people to mixing music and using the mic.
You don’t need to know anything about DJing to get started. Our programme begins with choosing songs, getting to know the equipment and trying a short introduction on the mic — with time to practise and create with others.
Our co-founder’s name, photo and full introduction will be shared here before booking opens.
